For many years we have seen an evolution of the women division in WWE change. They called it a women’s evolution. So many history making moments were made. It really don’t stop there, but has it? We have witnessed a all women’s pay per view in 2018, that never returned in 2019. Sources say it was because of the ratings be so low. Hello! Look how many other pay per views suck, but you keep bringing them back. The Evolution pay per view meant something to the women Superstars; and it needs to be brought back to life!

Women’s Evolution

A question that comes up every day, who actually started the women’s evolution? There really isn’t a wrong answer to that. It all depends how far you want to step back. We have Mae Young, Fabulous Moolah, Alundra Blayze, who went out there every week, and proved themselves. The Bella Twins are part of it some way; even the crazy skipper we all know as AJ Lee. Every woman that decided “hey I’m gonna be a pro wrestler receives kudos for the women’s evolution.

New Matches

We have witnessed the following matches as part of the women’s evolution. Hell in a Cell, Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, Elimination Chamber, Steel Cage, Royal Rumble, Battle Royal, Last Women Standing and a ladder match. That right there can show that the women have what it takes to stand tall alongside the men of the wrestling world as well. There is so many matches out there that needs to be part of the the evolution, that’s not part of it, but just maybe in the future.

A Different Kind of History

Not all history making moments need to be in the ring. One moment that was made, is when Renee Young became the first ever full time women commentator on Monday Night RAW in WWE history. Her historic moment was a dream come true to her and all her fans. Now she hosts the show on FS1 called WWE Backstage. There is so many moments we could write about now, and probably bore you to death; but they could be a future article. The history the women make in the wrestling world will forever be in our hearts. So in reality when the question is asked: Who started the women’s evolution? You can answer every woman in the wrestling world did.
