I am introducing a weekly write up where I make predictions against the spread for the weeks slate of NFL games. I will rank them from 1-10 based on my confidence level (1 most,10 least). I will try and pump this list out by Thursday morning (whoops already late) and hopefully help us all win some $$$.

*NFL spreads could change throughout week due to injury or other factors.

1.) Miami @ New England (-6.5,48)

The Pick: Patriots

The undefeated…smh… Miami Dolphins head to New England to face a Patriots team that is currently 1-2. My logic in making this my most confident bet of the week is simple, have we ever seen Tom and the Pats not figure it out? The short answer is NO! I expect a motivated Patriots team to dismantle an overconfident Dolphins team.

2.) San Francisco @ LA Chargers (-10.5,46)

The Pick: Chargers

I’m never usually a guy to take huge spreads unless its utterly obvious. However, this one seems to be along that narrative. A battered and beaten 49ers team has to be deflated after losing their man-candy QB, Jimmy G. A solid Chargers defense will most certainly make short work of the 49ers back up QB, Shane Falco. I am even confident the Chargers D will score (hold me to it).

3.) Minnesota @ LA Rams (-7,49)

The Pick: Over 49

In a match up of two NFC heavy weights known for their defenses, I believe today’s game will be a shootout. The Rams have lost Aqib Talib for the foreseeable future and the stud on the other side, Marcus Peters, is also a game time decision. On the other side, the Vikings are going to be missing some key components as well on the defensive side of the ball. I believe two both high scoring offenses prevail here.

4.) Buffalo @ Green Bay ( -9.5,45)

The Pick: Green Bay

DISCLAIMER: I am a die hard packers fan.

After laying a egg last week in Washington, I believe that Aaron will be coming out with a vengeance. The Packers much improved D will take advantage of Josh Allen’s growing pains.

5-6.) NY Jets @ Jacksonville (-7.5,38.5)

The Picks: 5-Jags,6-under 38.5

This Game has two really good bets I like. I like the Jags to demolish the Jets in a shut out game. My logic for the Under is just that.  I think the Jags shut out the Jets and we know Blake Bortles is not putting up 39 points himself to induce an Over 38.5.

7.) New Orleans @ NY Giants (+3,50.5)

The Pick: over 50.5

Simple, Two high powered offenses and two terrible defenses. Game goes over easy.

8.) Tampa Bay @ Chicago ( -3.0,46.5)

The Pick: Tampa Bay (+3)

This spread has the Bucs as a road dog strictly because of what happened to each team last week. It has a very, “what have you done for me lately,” feel. I believe Tampa comes in and takes care of business.

9.) Detroit @ Dallas (-3,43.5)

The Pick: Dallas

Coming off an emotional high for Detroit I believe they lay an egg in Jerry’s house. I think Dallas needs a win and gets one at home vs a Detroit team that left it all out there last week.

10.) Houston @ Indianapolis (-1.5,47)

The Pick: Indy

Deshaun Watson is suffering some post injury rust or a sophomore slump, whatever the case, the Colts are rejuvenated thanks to the return of their QB Cpt. Andrew Luck. Colts win Easy.

Closing out my first blog in a new uniform, I hope these picks don’t go Belly Up—BOOM!!!!
