I’m sure seeing his former employer trade an actual 1st rd. pick for Amari Cooper last week made Dez laugh just a bit. I bet when Dez Bryant turned on the TV after his workout I imagine him doing every day to keep himself in shape and saw Thomas go for a 4th and Tate go for a 3rd that he just did one of those sighs that take all the the remaining energy in your body to dispel. It’s week 10 and nobody has signed Dez Bryant and I’m sure there’s a big part of him that can’t believe it.

Oh The Language

I’d love to see and hear Bryant after hearing about these guys getting traded for and still getting real good money in the NFL after he thinks about this…

Yeah, Dez turned down an offer from Baltimore worth $21m and he apparently turned down a contract from the Browns. But, in his head I’d bet anything that he can’t believe that teams aren’t tripping over themselves for his skill. Honestly, I am too. The way the NFL is about winning at all costs I’d thought by now someone would cave and bring him in. It’s not like it would cause an uproar with the fan base as if someone signed Kaep.

Particular Set Of Skills

Dez is only 29 years old and it’s 2018 meaning that players get more mileage out of their bodies than players used to. Bryant also isn’t some third rate player. Sure his stats have dropped off since Zeke and Dak got to Dallas, but again, he’s only 29. If he was 34, I’d say well his age is the culprit. I’m not saying he’s a top 5 or 10 WR in the league. But he is a top 25 receiver and it just baffles me that he’s not in the league. I’m sure it baffles him more. He’s big, has alrightish speed, decent hands and has made tons of plays in the league. Guys like Geronimo Allison and Leonte Carro are playing football and he isn’t. Is he a problem in the locker room? Perhaps. But, it’s never been reported that he’s been awful back there. Couple of tirades, but never any arrests or anything like that.

Conspiracy Theory

Here me out on this. The reason Dez is not getting signed by anyone since he turned down the Ravens is that the league is blackballing him like they’re doing to Kaepernick. The league is keeping Bryant out because it makes it look like they aren’t blackballing Kaepernick. If the league can keep more players out, than it appears they aren’t singling anyone out. Also, Jerry Jones signed up for this coup. Believe it, or don’t believe it. I just can see the NFL go through these lengths.
