Disclaimer- I am not a Rams fan, I am actually a Patriots fan. So, for me to actually admit that the Rams are gonna win the Super Bowl, it takes a lot. But it’s the truth, so here’s why.

Last Thursday night, we all watched the Rams come out and just dominate the Vikings. The team, who, going into this year, were considered to be one of their biggest two threats in the NFC. Thursday, we saw a great game. One that, at the end of the game, could have gone a different way. However, there’s no denying that the Rams looked like the better team from the jump. Against, arguably, the best or second best D in the NFC, the Rams had three different guys catch for over 100 yards and a touchdown. Todd Gurley had 73 yards receiving as well. How can someone possibly stop that? They’re putting 35 points per game and they did that against two top 10 NFL defenses in the Vikings and Chargers.

Offense

Jared Goff has been an absolute stud. Guy keeps getting better and better as the season goes along. He’s got great receivers and Robert Woods, and that’s no slight to Robert Woods either. I mean if you gave this guy a top tier tight end, holy shit he’d be even more dangerous. How can you stop a guy with three great receiving options. Oh, and then you also have to stop Todd Gurley, the best running back in the league. Have fun with that. The only defense in the league that could stop them is the Jags and their own defense.

Defense

Speaking of their defense, how is it fair for a team to just roll out Aaron Donald and Nadonkeykong Suh? Oh, and then you also have Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib, John Johnson, and Lamarcus Joyner protecting against any air attack. Who the hell needs linebackers when you have those 6? Give me those six guys and the starting linebackers from Mater Dai High School and I’d take them to the Super Bowl. So how can a team stop their offense and then get something going against their defense? It just seems impossible, oh and you also have the offensive guru Sean McVay game planning against you.

Coaching

Lets talk about McVay for a second. Everyone knows that while, yes, Bill Belichick’s offenses are always good, he’s a defensive genius. Well, McVay is the offensive version of Bill. Maybe not yet, but he will be. Jared Goff and Sean McVay are going to be the next Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. They are going to be running the league for the next 15 years. And McVay has an extra reason to win all his games. If he wins, he has less work to do after the game and can go home to his smokeshow girlfriend. I mean good god have you seen this girl? I can only imagine the list of things McVay gets to do or have done to him by her if he wins the Super Bowl.

Dynasty For Years

All in all this team is legit. They were legit last year and got significantly better in the offseason. They are going to be a threat for years to come, even if they start to lose some pieces. They will be competing for Super Bowls the way the Patriots have been. Just a fun fact for you though, there’s a better chance that Tom Brady makes it to the Super Bowl than there is Steph Curry makes a 3 pointer.
