Ahh, all is good in the world. Isn’t it, Sox fans? Yes… yes it is. Yankees fans, i’m surprised you didn’t jump in front of a subway train after Tuesday nights loss. The Boston Red Sox are moving on to the American League Championship series! I, like most Red Sox fans are as happy as Boston fan back in 2004. While this victory can’t yet compare to the 2004 comeback, down 3-0 to the Yankees, this man-handling of this shitty New York team will certainly be one to remember. I like this version of “New York, New York” better.

DAAAA YANKEES LOSE!    -David Ortiz

Postseason- New York Struggle, Boston Surge:

7 of the last 8 games. The Red Sox have won 7 of their last 8 postseason games against the New York Yankees. Yes, you “Betts Believe” (see what I did there?) that includes the 4 game comeback back in 2004 as well as this 3-1 series victory in 2018. I mean c’mon, let’s be honest… did you really think that the Yankees had any shot against the best team ever? No, that’s simply a fact. I mean, i’m sure all of the New York fans that chanted “We Want Boston” after the WILD CARD, THE GOD DAMN WILD CARD victory against the Oakland Athletics thought that they had some sort of chance. News flash, ya didn’t. Remember after Game 3 when Aaron Judge walked through the Fenway tunnel playing “New York, New York.” That song now belongs to the Boston Red Sox. Here is Boston celebrating with “New York, New York” playing in the background. START SPREADING THE NEWS!

Yankees Fans:

Yeah yeah, i’m sure you Yankees fans will sit back and say “27 RINGZ DAWG” in the most New York accent that you could possibly have but I honestly don’t really understand that ludicrous statement. Let me run you through some facts…

8 World Series rings happened before World War II

16 World Series rings happened before minorities could play

19 World Series victories happened when the American League only had 8 teams

20 World Series victories happened before each league had a “League Championship Series”

25 World Series victories happened before we all had HD television

Still think that Red Sox fans, or any fans of Major League Baseball care about your “27 rings?” Nah, homie. You do you though.  Your shitty fan base “wanted Boston” so bad but yet you couldn’t “walk the walk.” We blew you out in Game 3. We gave you hope in game 4 with Kimbrell not knowing how to throw a strike and you still couldn’t capitalize. Giancarlo Stanton, what a complete joke. Remember when everyone said that the Stanton signing would be better than the J.D. Martinez signing? Lol. Remember when almost every sports analyst picked the Yankees to win the AL East, the AL, the World Series and this past series against Boston? Lol. I don’t know how you people still have a job.

ALCS Preview:

This is the first time since 2013 that the Boston Red Sox have made it to the ALCS. The last time? Oh yeah, the Sox won the World Series. Now, I know this Houston Astros team is going to be tough. I’ve rooted for the Astros all last postseason after they beat the Sox but no more! The Red Sox have the starting pitching to compete. If David Price can get us just one, just one good start we will be golden. We have Chris Sale going game 1 so i’m not worried, that will be a great game. Game 2 Price will start. Me- very worried. Game 3 we have Porcello and after that anything can happen. All I’m saying is that this Sox team can shock a lot of people. I see us knocking off the ‘Stros in 6 games, moving on to play the Brewers in the World Series and sweeping them. I think we can all agree that the ALCS will be a better series than the World Series and the winner will easily win the title.

C’mon, Boston. We’re so close! Push through the bullpen struggles, the Mookie postseason struggles and find a way to battle against Houston! We certainly have the offense. We got this! I love this team so much! Boston Strong.Until next time, Yankee fans. Enjoy your time at home watching the best team ever! That’s simply a fact! Thanks for reading and don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and Twitter– @jcmoore19.
