Have you ever thought about just walking out of work, and calling it quits? Do you sit at your office and daydream about retirement? Apparently this Hall of Fame coach did.

You can live through legendary head coach Denny Douds for now, who retired after 45-years as the head coach of East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania with four seconds remaining on the clock as his Warriors trailed 48-35 to Ohio Dominican University.

Watching an opposing team kneel the clock out down two scores is miserable. So, why not just throw in the towel and beat the traffic? It is a power move that will not be topped in sports retirements anytime soon.

Douds has earned this retirement, but we did not deserve the walk-off style ending to a Hall of Fame career he gave us.

The head coach accumulated a career record of 264-204 at East Stroudsburg where he first arrived in 1966. The Warriors are now 1-8 on the season and have not had a winning season since going 6-5 in 2015.
