The Irony of Klay Thompson calling someone petty is pretty self-evident. Calling the Cavs championship team bums and idiots for mocking the warriors after they came back from a 3-1 deficit to win the championship. Klay talks a big game but only when the odds are stacked in his favor. Whenever the odds aren’t he runs away. Klay Thompson might be the softest guy in the NBA.
Remember Klay Thompson is also the same guy who ran off the court after blowing a 3-1 lead against the Cavs in the Finals. The same guy who mocked Lebron James saying that the NBA was a man’s game and he got his feelings hurt. The same guy whose team had to go running to Kevin Durant to replace Harrison Barnes to beat Lebron and the Cavs. The same guy who was lucky that both Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving were out injured in the first series they played against the Cavaliers. Klay Thompson never talks trash unless he is an overwhelming favorite. His arrogance only comes when he knows he can’t lose because Durant and Curry can bail him out.

Klay Thompson mocking Lebron James for not being man enough was possibly the pettiest and most idiotic comment made by a NBA player in the past decade. Yes including Kyrie’s Flat earth fiasco. Lebron James who came from nothing, earned everything he got through hard work and dedication to his craft. Lebron James who’s never had a off court controversy in his career. His biggest controversy, the decision,also happened to raise over a Million dollars for charities in the Cleveland area. A who has been to eight straight NBA finals. This guy isn’t man enough?
Karma always comes
Klays arrogance will start to unravel when Kevin Durant leaves Golden State this summer. Sure they will be great during the regular season but come playoffs without Durant what will happen? The Warriors will lose. And trash talking isn’t the problem here, its the fact that Klay can’t take what he dishes out. Look at Draymond Green, he’s a master class in trash talking. But when he loses he doesn’t run and hide off the court like Thompson. But I agree with Klay on one thing the NBA is a man’s game and Klays the softest man in it.
