Just like that? All the Dolphins had to do to wear the throwback uniforms that everyone loves regardless of what team they root for was ask if you could? This is like when Smalls suggested to just simply ask Mr. Mertle for the Baby Ruth signed ball that he hit over into the territory of the Beast and everyone told him that he was very stupid for even bringing up such an idea only for Mr. Mertle to say that’s all they had to do and he would of gotten the ball for them. Just make an NFL request to wear something and they’re down with it. If it’s been that easy than why oh why, haven’t you been doing this every week? Oh because you want people to buy both the throwback stuff and the current logo items. A money thing, I getcha.
Why It’s So Important
Besides the absolute fact that the 1966 throwback jerseys are aesthetically pleasing to gaze at than the current logo, which when they were revealed it in 2013 was met with audible sighs from the Miami faithful, the Dolphins need to wear these uniforms because they’re unbeatable in them. Going all the way back to last year when the Dolphins abused the Patriots on Monday night, definitely not the Bills game to end the year , and the two games this year Miami hasn’t lost wearing those beautiful uniforms. Last week against the Vikings they went back to the current, forgettable uniforms and they got romped. Doing a little math it certainly seems that they would of won against Minnesota if they had they had the the throwbacks on.
Prediction Against Jacksonville
So it gives me great pleasure to announce that the Dolphins have moved to 8-7 on the year. The Jaguars gave their all(probably won’t) but when Miami decided to ask the league to wear superior jerseys, that was pretty much all she wrote on this game. Now, if the Dolphins are smart they ask the league again to wear the throwbacks against Buffalo and hope for a ton of help to get in the playoffs where they can ask to wear them throughout the postseason and on to the Super Bowl. Sucks that they couldn’t just wear them the whole year and go undefeated again. Seems like a missed opportunity.
