SmackDown Live comes to us live tonight from the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio!

Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair kicked off SmackDown Live tonight after being named Becky Lynch’s replacement at Wrestlemania. Flair is 100% heel at this point. She said she’s the backbone, the franchise of this division, which got a negative reaction from the crowd. Flair says she chose a future Hall of Famer over someone who’s only had a few good months.

Charlotte says she’s going to dedicate this win to Becky Lynch and that she’ll in the front row for Ronda’s match at Elimination Chamber this Sunday.

Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville

The pair lost a triple threat tag team match on SmackDown tonight against the Iconics and Carmella & Naomi.

The pair will have to start out first in the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday for the WWE Women’s Tag Team championships alongside Sasha Banks & Bayley.

McMiz TV with the Usos

SmackDown Tag Team champions, Miz & Shane McMahon come down to host McMiz TV with their opponents this Sunday, the Usos. They welcome the Usos to the ring and say the Miz & Shane are trying to be the Usos. Shane says they’re actually the best in the world but the Usos aren’t sure if they’re a real tag team.

Both teams try to see who knows each other better in an entertaining back and forth. Things gets heated with both teams threatening each other. The Usos welcome them to the Usos Penitentiary and superkick the tag team champions.

This was a great go home segment and this match on Sunday will be great!

6 Man Gauntlet Match

This match will determine who enters the WWE title Elimination Chamber match last this Sunday. Daniel Bryan comes out first with Harper and cuts a good promo. The New Day cut him off and Kofi Kingston will be in the match to represent them.

The two had a lengthy match with some fun spots but the match broke down when Rowan and Big E interfered. This ended when Kofi hit trouble in paradise out of nowhere to pin the WWE champion!

Jeff Hardy is next up. Even though Jeff was the fresh man, Kofi was able to defeated him with an S.O.S in rather quick fashion.

Samoa Joe’s music hits and goes straight after Kofi. Kofi is tired at this point and Samoa Joe proved too much for Kingston but after a while, he was able to get a roll up pin on Joe to move on. Joe wasn’t happy about this afterwards and choked him out.

AJ Styles is next and chases Joe away so the match can continue. Meanwhile, Kofi is still sleeping on the floor. Kofi is exhausted and AJ told him that he doesn’t need to keep going. Kingston gets in his face and Styles drops him. Kofi continues to sell throughout the match, taking all AJ’s offense, including an incredibly painful looking back breaker. Kofi got some offense in late but Styles taps him out with the calf crusher after an hour in the bout.

Randy Orton’s music hits and comes behind styles, out of nowhere with the RKO for the win. Orton will be the last man to enter the Chamber on Sunday. The show ended right after Orton pinned Styles.

Overall, this was an okay show but not good for the fact that Elimination Chamber is Sunday. The gauntlet match really dragged towards the middle of the match but picked up at the end. The strongest segment was either Charlotte’s promo or McMiz TV.

Stay tuned this Sunday for my star ratings for WWE’s Elimination Chamber PPV!
