The AFC West has two teams that can win it all now and two teams that need to start rebuilding. The Chargers have a short time frame to win it all and the Chiefs have the offensive firepower to win it all. On the other hand, the Raiders need to keep getting draft picks and the Broncos need to find a franchise quarterback. But when it comes to this offseason, which move is the best for these teams?

Chargers: Draft Christian Wilkins (Defensive Line, Clemson) – Christian Wilkins might not end up falling this far, but the Chargers need to draft him if he does. Christian Wilkins was probably the best player on that phenomenal Clemson defense last season. He had six sacks last season and got the 2nd highest grade out of any Defensive Tackle according to Pro Football Focus.
The Chargers need to improve their interior defensive line, so getting a guy like Christian Wilkins would be perfect.

Chiefs: Sign Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (Safety, Redskins) – Ha’Sean “Ha Ha” Clinton-Dix could be the best pickup for the Chiefs without breaking the bank. The Chiefs don’t have the cap space to be looking at a guy like Earl Thomas if they want to be able to fill multiple holes in the team. Getting one of the best safeties from last season to replace Ron Parker would be the best move Kansas City could make. Clinton-Dix will allow big plays every once in a while, but he can also turn the tide by causing big turnovers.

Raiders: Draft Quinnen Williams (Defensive Tackle, Alabama) – The Raiders are beginning a brand new rebuild, so they should get the best player in the draft. Quinnen Williams is an interior monster and should go first overall in the draft, but there’s a fantastic chance he falls to pick number four due to teams trading up for quarterbacks. The raiders need a defensive star and pairing up Quinnen Williams with Maurice Hurst would be a nice duo to watch in Las Vegas.

Broncos: Sign Landon Collins (Safety, Giants) –The Broncos are planning to let a lot of players go on the defensive side of the ball and they are in need of a safety more than any other NFL team is. Landon Collins just turned 25 in January, so even if the Broncos begin a rebuild he will still be a solid player for many years. He isn’t the best in passing coverage, but his help against the run is untouched.
