The Notorious Conor McGregor was arrested Monday night in Miami Beach.

McGregor has been charged with strong-arm robbery and criminal mischief after reportedly taking and smashing the phone of a man who was taking pictures of him outside of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel. The story was first broke by the Miami Herald.

A $7,500 and $5,000 bond accompanies the charges, According to the Miami-Dade County Jail website.

According to the police report, McGregor “slapped” the phone out of the man’s hands before stomping on it and eventually picking the phone up and walking away with it.

In a statement, Miami defense lawyer Samuel Rabin said McGregor “was involved in a minor altercation involving a cell phone that resulted in a call to law enforcement. Mr. McGregor appreciates the response of law enforcement and pledges his full cooperation.”

It seems that trouble is something that Conor simply cannot avoid here lately.

In April, He infamously attacked a bus that was at the time carrying rival Khabib Nurmagomedov. McGregor heaved a dolly through one of the bus windows, which caused multiple people on the bus to be hurt, leading to McGregor’s arrest.

Not too long ago, McGregor completed community service that cleared his charges regarding the bus incident. Obviously Conor has not learned his lesson.

This past October, McGregor and Nurmagomedov attempted to settle their differences inside the octagon at UFC 229. Nurmagomedov submitted McGregor in the fourth round of their fight, before starting a post-fight brawl involving multiple people of both Khabib and McGregor’s teams. This incident led to both men being fined and suspended by the Nevada Athletic State Commission.

McGregor’s suspension is set to be up in April, which would allow the Irishman to return to the UFC, but who knows what will happen to the notorious one after this tiff in Miami Beach on Monday.
