Sunday’s night’s NBA Eastern Conference Finals game 3 was beyond amazing with a crazy ending.  The Toronto Raptors won in double OT 118-112. Milwaukee leads the series 2-1.  We can safely say it is now a fair series. The Raptors have a better chance to even the series at 2-2 tonight with game four at Toronto.

Foul trouble leads the Bucks to a loss in Double OT

One of the reasons the Bucks lost in double overtime is because of foul trouble towards the end of the first overtime. Giannis Antetokounmpo fouled out at the end of the first overtime. The Bucks stumbled without the MVP finalist. That is when the Raptors took advantage and Kawhi Leonard took over in the second overtime.  Leonard was unstoppable from that point on. The Bucks seemed dazed and confused without Antetokounmpo.

Despite having only 12 points, Antetokounmpo grabbed 23 rebounds. That made a huge difference before his six personal fouls.  Khris Middleton had five fouls and was the go to man for the Bucks in the double overtime loss.  Middleton played huge minutes for Milwaukee but fell short towards the end of the double overtime.  He had nine points for the entire game and that is unacceptable. Where is the help Antetokounmpo needs in case he fouls out again?

George Hill contributed with 24 points. He stepped up when the Bucks needed him the most, but it wasn’t enough for Milwaukee to win. Brook Lopez played well with 16 points and 6 rebounds. If Milwaukee wants to win tonight, they have to come up big on the boards.

First of all, let’s complement how super amazing Leonard was in game 3 and how he showed everybody the fans, critics, and experts he should be respected and admired for his superpowers. He played like a true leader, scoring 36 points. His teammate Marc Gasol scored 16 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and had 7 assists.  It was one of the best NBA playoffs I have watched in a long time and hope it repeats itself tonight. Leonard was phenomenal and we can’t deny that. He also once again proved the haters wrong.  Leonard still managed to get 9 boards.

Pascal Siakam is the go to man right now in these Eastern Conference Finals for Toronto. Siakam scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Surprisingly, he played big minutes for the entire game with 51 minutes.  Both teams were exhausted, however, the Raptors wanted to win no matter what it took. It showcased in the double overtime.

Meanwhile, Danny Green was such a disappointment in my eyes with only 3 points and 6 rebounds.  Was he the invincible man? Therefore, In order for the Raptors to win tonight, Green needs to step up and contribute more. Leonard can’t be the only Raptors player to show up every game. Like the famous saying goes ” Win big or go Home”

In conclusion, the Bucks have to avoid getting into foul trouble and avoid another double overtime game in order to win and go up 3-1.

Will Milwaukee redeemed themselves tonight?
