After a very exciting night of action at the WWE’S first ever Stomping Grounds pay per view we will see a lot of a ripple affect from everything that went down in the matches. It’s a possibility we could see a intergender match at Extreme Rules.
It would be Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins verses Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans. What really happened during Rollins’ match?
Seth Rollins was defending his WWE Universal Championship vs the former RAW General Manager the lone wolf himself Baron Corbin.
Corbin had hand picked a special guest referree for the match and it would be later revealed to be none other than the woman who calls herself the lady of WWE Lacy Evans.
This made for an interesting match. The match that should’ve the fans more excited than it did; in the end when it was all said and done with.
Evans multiple times during that match had slapped or hit a low blow on the Beastslayer. That is until his girlfriend and current RAW Women’s Champion would come to his aid and lay out Lacey Evans.
Safe to say Baron Corbin’s plan really backfired on him. As a result of Becky Lynch getting involved it allowed WWE Referee John Cone to get involved in time. Cone connected with the pin for Seth after he had delivered a super kick and a curb stomp ending the match.
Surprisedly, enough some in the crowd didn’t like this finish and thought it was flat.
What do you think? Do you think the intergender match would be a good idea? What is the future for the lone wolf after falling short to the Beastslayer? Is the feud between Lacey Evans and Becky Lynch over?
Feel free to let us know your thoughts on the match and the pay per view in the comments.
