As July approaches so does the MLB trade deadline, a time when anything can happen. There could be some interesting trades and rumors over tenet month.

Teams will either be sellers or buyers as they try to figure out the rest of the season. It’s a good time for teams to address their current needs if you are a contender. For struggling teams, it could help build for their future. Here are three names that will be speculated upon in the coming weeks.

An interesting name to keep an eye on will be Madison Bumgarner of the San Francisco Giants, who looks to be moved. He is still a good pitcher who make a nice rental for a contending team like the Yankees or Cubs. Bumgarner could bring in a nice haul for the Giants who are struggling in 2019.

Clint Frazier a young talented outfielder from the Yankees may be a name we hear, it sounds like he may have already worn out his welcome in New York. Frazier could be a good outfield option for many contending teams looking for help. Expect Frazier to garner a lot of attention at the trade deadline.

Marcus Stroman is a pitcher we could see get moved at the deadline. He is only 28 years old and still holds value as a starter. Stroman is still controllable through next season. The Rockies could use an experienced starter and they have a good farm system to work with.

Surely there will be more names as the weeks go on. But those are some big names to expect to be moved by the deadline. Pitching will be the biggest need this season for many contending teams.

There will probably be a least one big trade that could rock the league. After the All-Star game expect to see things move fast. Those are the players who expect to be moved at the MLB trade deadline.
