The NBA draft is over and it was a wild draft. After the first round draft three pics were made we did not know what was going to happen after that. There were some surprises, reaches, and potential steals. Some teams made decisions that could make or break them for years to come. But let’s wait a few years before we judge these picks because anything can happen. Outside the top first-round draft three picks here are three picks i liked a lot.

De’Andre Hunter SF Atlanta Hawks

Hunter is 6-foot-8 with a 7-2 wingspan, he was the best defensive player in college basketball. Hunter can guard 1-4 and maybe can slide over and guard the 5 spot from time to time. The former Virginia star can shot the three but will need to continue to develop for the NBA level. He is not great at creating his own shot, but he is good at finding open spots on the floor. Point guard Trae Young will be able to find him for open shots.

Cam Reddish SF Atlanta Hawks

Everybody is down on Cam Reddish after his lackluster season at Duke. Reddish has all the tools to be a knockdown shooter and a terrific defender. He hit 33 percent of threes at Duke, i think he is much better than that. Some question his motor and if he really wants it enough. I think Reddish is a good spot playing Trae Young. The former Duke player will just need to run the court and Young will find him floor open shots. I think Reddish will wake up and play up to his potential and be an outstanding player for the Hawks.

Nassir Little SF Portland Trail Blazers

I liked this pick for Portland. Little is 6-6 with a 7-1 wingspan with a lot potential defensively. But will need to work on his awareness. He is athletic can plays with some strength. The former North Carolina star will need to improve his three-point shot, to complement Damian Lillard and C.J McCollum. Little is not a strong ball handler, but he is capable of putting the ball on the floor and scoring. He will not need to do much that because Lillard and McCollum will have the ball in their hands a lot.
