After what seemed a decade for the first ever WWE Universal Champion, he finally regained a title in April. He won and beat Bobby Lashley at Wrestlemania for the Intercontinental Championship . Finn Balor then lost the title to Shinsuke Nakamura on the kickoff show, at Extreme Rules. What is going on with the first ever Universal Champion you ask? Let’s take a look at the future of the extra ordinary man that can do extra ordinary things.

What’s Next for Finn Balor?

Balor will go one on one with the “fiend” personality of Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam. Sources say the “Demon” personality of Bálor will be present; however that will probably not be the case. If you remember awhile back it was Finn who introduced to Wyatt, the demon personality to him, while he was a just a man.

This time it’s Bray Wyatt’s turn to do the same. The “fiend” will meet the former champion. Wyatt will get the win, and Balor will take his few months of absence; while Wyatt might get a big push.

Big Plans for Finn Balor

The plans for Balor when he returns is join “The Bullet Club”. He will join forces with Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and the current United States Champion AJ Styles. Balor was the original leader and founder of “The Bullet Club.”

Nothing has been set in stone, but Paul Heyman, who is in charge of RAW would like to have Balor join The Club. What does that mean? It definitely means we could see a heel “Finn Balor”. I don’t think it would be a Prince Devitt heel turn, like in New Japan, but a heel turn will do the former champion a good turn around.

Writer’s Take

I have been a Finn Balor fan through his whole career. Balor signing to the NXT brand was great, but most of all when he got drafted to the main roster. I cried. You heard me I cried. He’s been the one wrestler through all his bad and good times that I have supported. As a fan, I am still waiting for him to reclaim his rightful spot as Universal Champion, and I know he is too. That day will come again, and I will be in tears of joy once again, just like the first time he won. I will continue to support Finn.

Today happens to be his birthday: Happy Birthday Finn Balor! Hope it’s great!
