There are 39 days left before a new NFL season begins and I think it is time to get into betting matters. Yes, I know no games have been played yet. But, there is a topic that I really like to discuss. Who are the favorites to win Super Bowl 54…according to Las Vegas.

Big time  favorites

New England Patriots

Once again the bookmakers made the New England the big time favorite to win it all. I don’t think they are mistaken, they are wide favorites again. However, I see it unlikely that they will get to their 4th consecutive Super Bowl  and remain champions again. With teams like the Kansas City Chiefs and the Indianapolis Colts on their way up, I think we will finally see another AFC representative in the Super Bowl.

Odds are 8 to 1 for the Patriots to get the big win again,  and they are the lowest paying team since they are the favorites.

Los Angeles Rams

The next favorite Team is the Rams, who are expected to recover from the defeat in Super Bowl 53 and be a dominant team in the NFC again. Odds are 8.5 to 1 for the Rams to win Super Bowl 54 .

Personally, I believe that they have all the tools to come back. And with what they learned last season, this time going out with victory in the Big Game.

I Like His Chances

Besides the Big Time Favorites, there are other teams which I like their possibilities to reach the Super Bowl and win it.

Kansas City Chiefs

They have a great team commanded by Patrick Mahomes, if they can finally reach a Super Bowl and win it.

They would pay 9 to 1

I think it will be one of the last seasons in which the great QB Drew Brees will have a chance to win a Super Bowl. His whole team comes thirsty for revenge after losing unfairly on a penalty last season.

Odds are 9-1 if they won the Super Bowl

Chicago Bears
Super Bowl LIV

After a great season and a very early elimination in the Playoffs, I think the Bears will learn from their mistakes. With a very sharp offense and a super defense they have the chance to become champions.

They will pay 15 to 1  if they succeed.

Indianapolis Colts
Super Bowl LIV

It’s Andrew Luck’s second year with HC Frank Reich and he is completely healthy. I think Luck can take the next step and be a champion for the first time.

Bets pay 17 to 1 in case this happens.

Long Shot

Atlanta Falcons
Super Bowl LIV

The Falcons had a bad season, because of multiple injuries. They have a very good player core though and they are healthy again. That’s why, for me,  they are the ones who have more chances above all non-favorite teams to win it. They pay 34 to 1 if they win the Super Bowl and I think it is worth putting a few dollars in their favor as they pay very well.

Worst Bet

Cleveland Browns

The Browns have put together a great team and this has caused the casinos to pay only 15 to 1 in case they win the Super Bowl. This betting line places them even above the Colts as favorites to be champions this season. I really doubt that this will ever happen.

The Browns must first prove  that they can reach the playoffs for the first time after 19 years, before thinking about a championship. So, I don’t recommend betting on the Browns.

That’s all for this week, see you soon with more of the NFL !!!
