The day has come and the NBA Christmas games have been announced. It is a Christmas present for many fans who get to see their team play on Christmas and if their lucky, go to the game. The NBA puts great match ups on and this year will be no different.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Tim MacMahon of ESPN..

It will be a much anticipated game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers. I mean, even if you are not a fan of either team, that match up is must see TV. LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, and Paul George will headline it, so it will be epic. It will make the city of Los Angeles hyped on Christmas day. The Boston Celtics and Toronto game will also be one to watch. Kemba Walker against the defending NBA Champs. Should be a great match up of potential playoff teams.

The Denver Nuggets will make a Christmas day appearance with a game against New Orleans in Denver. It will be a showcase for the Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson and the new looked Pelicans. For a Nuggets team poised for a title run it will be a time to show the NBA they are a true contender. Another game that has turned into a rivalry of sorts is the Golden State Warriors against the Houston Rockets. When you get Curry and Harden on Christmas it is sure to be a show. But then through in Westbrook and now we have a fire game.

Finally, we will have the Milwaukee Bucks, who will travel to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers. Another great game of two teams that plan on competing for the Eastern Conference and an NBA title this year. Could this game be a preview of the East Final series? Many believe these are the two teams to beat so this mid season game is sure to be exciting.

The Christmas day NBA games have been a staple for many years now and for NBA fans it is as good as the Thanksgiving day games of the NFL. To have your team be on has been a privilege and gives some fans a little bragging rights. There will always be the games that some fans want to see as each set of fans wants to see their team. The New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets are just a few fan bases already expressing their dissatisfaction. With that said this years NBA Christmas games will not disappoint and will be just icing on the cake of a season that is sure to be one for the ages.
