Nolan Arenado has been a bright spot in looks to be a season the Colorado Rockies would like to forget, giving fans something to cheer about.

Arenado signed a lucrative deal for 8 years, $260 million as a highlight move for the Rockies this past offseason. The hope is that next year the Rockies can play like they were expected to this season. To live up to their end of the deal.

Arenado has been good this season. He has been a big part of the Rockies offense that has struggled the last few months. It should be interesting to see what happens next and if the Rockies this offseason can build a better team. They need to do a better job of building around Arenado, so that way the team has a chance to compete.

Recently Arenado just accomplished his 5th season with 30 home runs becoming the first third basemen to do so. He joins Vinny Castilla as one of only two players to appear on a single-season home run list, 3 times in franchise history.

Arenado is one of this special players that we are getting to watch as he makes his future case for the Hall of Fame. He also has a lot of respect in the game based on what he has done this year and in the past.

The plays he makes on defense are their highlight reel, some are just amazing. There are not many players that reach many plays that he can. Offensively he is just as good as he breaks records and hits a lot of home runs. He has been good with runners in scoring position this season. The last couple of weeks Arenado has really picked it up and held the struggling Rockies together. People consider him a human highlight reel because he does emote new all the time.

Based on his performance in his career as a Rockie. Arenado is on track to becoming the greatest player in franchise history. He is finding ways to solidify himself as one of the best third basemen in the game. Maybe one of the best players.
