We’ve already covered the AFC so now it’s time to take a look at the best NFC value bets for the upcoming 2019 NFL season.

The Atlanta Falcons Over 8.5 Wins

The Atlanta Falcons to get over their projected win total is one of the best NFC value bets for a few reasons. The Falcons have no road games in cold weather this season. They play at the Vikings but that game is in week 1 so weather won’t be a factor. If you’ve watched this the Falcons during the Matt Ryan era, you know that means a lot more to their team’s success than most.

The Atlanta Falcons are an extremely talented team. I would love to tell you that they are a great pick at +375 to win the division. Unfortunately, I can’t do that because the New Orleans Saints are just a much better team. The Falcons are a good home team and that’s where they play their toughest games outside the division when they play the Eagles and Rams.

If you want action on this talented Atlanta team, you should take them to win over 8.5 games at -125.

The Seahawks to Win the Division Is Not That Crazy

The Seattle Seahawks are +300 to win the NFC West. While the Rams are still the best team in that division, at -200 you’re better off staying away. The Seahawks have flaws and the Los Angeles Rams should win the division.

While the Rams are better, they’ve got some issues of their own.

Let’s start with the Todd Gurley situation. Whatever is going on with that, it’s clear the team has serious concerns about his long terms health. While the Rams have one of the NFL’s best offenses, their defense is decent but not great. The secondary is solid with Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters at corner and Eric Weddle joining the versatile John Johnson.

Of course we can’t forget about Aaron Donald who along with Khalil Mack is the best pass rusher in the NFL. The thing is, he’s an interior lineman and in terms of edge rushers, the Rams have nothing. In fact, other than Donald, they don’t have much of a pass rush at all.

Last but not least if any team has a chance at slowing down this Rams offense it’s the Seattle defense. They are a borderline top ten defense and now they’ve added Jadeveon Clowney.

Also I’ll take Russell Wilson over Jared Geoff any day of the week.

All of these points against the Rams are also to reinforce why you shouldn’t take them at -200 to win this division. Seattle at +300 or stay away.

The Eagles Line is the Safe Pick in the NFC

The Philadelphia Eagles at +100 to win the NFC East is a very good bet. This column is about the best NFC value bets but the Eagles still qualify. Even though +100 doesn’t seem like a great price, when you look the odds in the other divisions, its isn’t bad either. While the Dallas Cowboys are an improving team who just completed the signing of star running back Ezekiel Elliott, the Eagles are still better.

As for the Cowboys at +130, that’s not a good enough price to take them over the Eagles. Dallas is capable of winning the division but they have more question marks surrounding their team than the Eagles do.

The NFC North is The Toughest to Predict

The Chicago Bears should win the division. The Green Bay Packers have the best quarterback so they can win the division. The Minnesota Vikings have the talent to make noise and if they somehow got back to the team they were two seasons ago they could make a run. For all of these reasons we suggest playing the over on either the Bears or the Packers. When looking for the best NFC value bets, the Bears over 9.5 seems like the way to go in this division.

The Bears schedule is easier than Green Bay’s who play tougher road games. The division is just too close to call because the Vikings can beat both the Bears and Packers on any given Sunday.

The Chicago Bears over 9.5 is at +115.
