Fantasy Football PPR Running Back Week 3 Rankings are ready to go! A lot of people were upset last week with the performance of CMC, but there will be some weeks where a stud may let you down.

This week there are a lot of injuries to keep an eye on. Monitor practice throughout the week and grab yourself a handcuff if your back is out.

#1 Running Back Run Zeke!

Zeke at home vs the Miami Dolphins is every owner’s dream! If you have started 0-2, this may be your break out week. The Dolphins defense has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. The only issue i see is if Dallas is up big and sit Zeke. Regardless, Elliot will get his touches!

Running Back to Watch

Leonard Fournette, Jacksonville Jaguars

The Tennessee Titans are ranked as the 7th worst defense against the run in 2 weeks. Leonard Fournette has been the Jags workhorse especially with the injury to Nick Foles. Even though Fournette has not scored this year, he has had the touches. He has been on the field 115 of 125 snaps. This pick is all about the workload. If Minshew can drive the team down the field, I think Fournette may be good for a score maybe 2 this week.

RB Not High On This Week

Kerryon Johnson, Detroit Lions

Last week I was off of Devonta Freeman against the Eagles, and I seemed to have been right. This week it is Kerryon Johnson and the Detroit Lions to face Philadelphia. The way to beat the Eagles is through the air. The Birds have only given up 85 yards on 30 attempts for a 2.8 average. Johnson has not been much of a factor in the first 2 weeks, other than 1 big touchdown catch. the Eagles are a 6.5 point favorite which tells me the Lions will be playing from behind. If Johnson is relevant on Sunday, it will most likely come from the air, but the Eagles should keep him in check.
