Every fan foresaw that the Four Horsewomen would be in action at the next pay-per-view. During this week’s Monday Night Raw, the match-ups were set in stone! On September 15, Charlotte Flair and Bayley will battle for the Smackdown Women’s Championship while Sasha Banks takes on Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship. With the Four Horsewomen set to collide at Clash of Champions, the set-up should have been simple. The babyface champions going against their heel opponents. The events of this past week have thrown that theory out the window!

Monday Night Mayhem

Raw was originally set to continue the build-up of the Banks/Lynch feud. Their verbal confrontation earlier in the evening was promo magic! Afterwards, Lynch had to refocus her energies for the main event. She along with Bayley were taking on the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nikki Criss and Alexa Bliss.  In true heel fashion, Sasha made her way out to the ring to get a close-up view of the match. As Becky looked to put the match away, Banks attacked her causing a DQ.

Just as The Boss was partaking in another round of chair shots on Lynch, Bayley snatched the chair out of her former tag team partner’s hands. The superstars stared at each other while the fans were waiting to see what happened next. Bayley possibly talking to Banks to calm her down or perhaps the ladies starting to brawl themselves? Nobody expected for Bayley to start in on Lynch herself! The Hugger appeared to have turned heel! Monday Night Raw ended with The Man on the ground while Sasha and Bayley smirked as they admired their handy work!

Tuesday Night Encore

Bayley started out Smackdown Live attempting to justify her actions from the night before. Half of the explanation seemed sincere. The other half of it  seemed as if Bayley was trying to make excuses for attacking Becky. Charlotte Flair made her way down to the ring to confront Bayley while claiming that she would take her title of Clash of Champions. The Queen got a surprise of her own – The Boss!

Sasha Banks made her way out to the ring. Charlotte sensed that she was about to suffer the same blows that Becky Lynch suffered the night before. Charlotte went on the attack first and struck Bayley enough to knock her out of the ring. Sasha came in and tried to fight Charlotte off. It was Bayley who brought the chair in this time and struck Charlotte. Bayley and Sasha went back and forth on Charlotte with one chair shot after another. It was Monday night all over again as the two walked off with another victim on the ground.

What Now?

The WWE Universe came out of this week puzzled about what’s to come. Has Bayley turned heel or is she just a loyal friend? How will Becky and Charlotte respond to the attacks? Will they eventually team up against Sasha and Bayley? With the Four Horsewomen set to collide at Clash of Champions in less than two weeks, this week’s events will surely affect those championship matches. In fact, I’m pretty sure that this explosive situation will carry on after Clash of Champions. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
