The long-awaited day is approaching, next Thursday, September 5, the 2019 NFL season begins. Before giving my week one Picks, I would like to review the content that you we will see every week in Pac Picks.

Weekly Content

Pick of the Week

This pick is the game that I consider the safest to bet.

Hunch Pick

This is a pick in which I believe that a team that nobody is betting on can surprise and win or cover the spread.

Normal Parlay or a Parlay in Round Robin Mode

-Normal Parlay: It is a combination of 2 or more picks in which we must hit all the picks to win it, but if we hit them, the profits are very juicy.

-Parlay in Round Robin Mode: In this mode, our profits decrease a bit compared to the normal Parlay, but it is much more likely to succeed since it divides the selected Picks into several 2-team parlays.

Additional Pick

I will only share an additional pick when I see something really attractive in addition to the aforementioned.

We will also have our “Black List” where I will tell you some teams that I’m not willing to put my money on them and will be updated every week. Also we are going to have one section with the most relevant news of the week and the summary of how we went with our bets the previous week.

Pac Picks Against the Spread Week 1

The first week is the most difficult to predict and therefore the most difficult to bet. You have to be cautious. I highly recommend that we avoid betting on teams favored by more than 7 points, especially if they are visitors. This week, we will start with two Picks and one Parlay of two selections.

Pick of the Week: Atlanta +3.5

Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings: Atlanta has a completely renewed offensive line, their star RB is fully healthy and Dirk Koetter returns to his former position as Offensive Coordinator. If we put all that together with their entire defense finally being completely  healthy, we have a very powerful team ready to start this 2019 season.

On the other hand the Vikings finally have their RB Dalvin Cook healthy, they have a new Offensive coordinator and a solid defense. But, they have several holes in their offensive line, which makes them vulnerable to the Atlanta defense. I think this is a very even match, either of them can win, so I stay with  Atlanta and their +3.5 points.

Hunch Pick: Giants +7

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys have had many distractions this preseason, starting with the difficult contract negotiations they have with their 3 offensive stars, Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper and Ezekiel Elliott. Zeke has not trained with the team and it seems that he will miss at least one regular season game if Dallas does not offer him a contract that makes him the highest paid RB in the league this weekend. Zeke’s hold out will be a very big distraction. In addition to that, we all  already know that Prescott has has a very hard time winning when Eliott is not in the field.

On the other hand the Giants arrive with very good spirits this season, without the extra distractions that WR Odell Beckham Jr caused. With a solid defense and with RB Saquon Barkley determined to become the best Back in the league, I think this will also be an even match, so we stay with the Giants and their +7.

** Note: Do not place this bet in the case that Ezekiel Elliott plays week 1

Double parlay same game: Raiders +1 and Over 43

Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders: Coach Gruden’s Raiders face their divisional rival, the Denver Broncos. I think the Oakland offense is very well reinforced and  can work very well against the Denver defense, who is in his first season with their new coach and new Defensive Coordinator. Additionally, I believe the Denver offense commanded by QB Joe Flacco will manage to score at least 20 points. I think Oakland is going to win this game with a score near 27-20, so I think betting on the Raiders and Overs of 43 points is the right choice.

Remember that gambling is a game of chances and nobody can guarantee you to win every bet. If someone does, please don’t believe him, even if they are professional tipsters or not.

Thats all for this week’s Pac Picks. Please follow us for the best Free Picks against the Spread every week!
