The Washington Mystics have been playing a great game on and off the court all season. For the second win in a row at the semifinals, the Washington Mystics finished strong with a 103-91 win over the Las Vegas Aces. They held it down in the first quarter, outscoring the Aces by a four-point lead. But what really put them on top in the third quarter. During the third quarter, they had a 10-0 run. That’s what really put the Mystics on top.

Emma Meesseman was hard to stop out on the court. She managed to put up a career-high of 30 points. ‘It’s easier to take my shot when it goes in,” said Meesseman, who hit 5 of 7 attempts from 3-point range. ”I know that when you kind of have the hot hand, just keep shooting. That’s what I did.” Her team also played a major role in the big win. Natasha Cloud came out on top too with 18 points, two rebounds and 11 assists, while Center LaToya Sanders ended the night with 17 points, 11 assist and two rebounds. Elena Delle Donne received her second WNBA MVP Award and held it down with 10 rebounds and scored 14 points and had one assist. She beat out her runner up, Brittney Griner, by receiving 41 out of 43 votes and doubling the point total.

The Washington Mystics are racing towards a return to the WNBA finals. Sunday is game three and if they secure a win and come out on top, they will go on to be a top contender and team to watch out for in the finals. The Mystics were swept by Seattle in the 2018 finals. Sunday’s game will be interesting to watch. If the Aces want a chance, they better Bring their A-Game!
