Mo Bamba played 16 minutes and finished with a solid performance in yesterday’s loss against the Heat. Bamba finished with 14 points and 3 rebounds. Bamba will be a great addition to the Magic lineup for the regular season. His minutes will increase as well as his rebounds, shooting percentage and so on. However, his solid performance wasn’t enough to secure the win.

Aaron Gordon

The Orlando Magic Forward Aaron Gordon did not have a great offensive performance. With only 7 points for the night did not help the Magic win the game. Gordon finished with 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. The Magic need Gordon to step up offensively for the regular season. He is a vital piece to the team.

The Magic Guard Evan Fournier had another great performance. Fournier finished the night with 16 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds. He went 5-8 from the field. Not a bad night for Fournier even though it was the last preseason game but these games matter to players like Fournier. It’s a great opportunity to work on your game and be ready for the regular season.

Key points

In conclusion, what hindered the Magic in yesterday’s preseason game was the shooting percentage from the field. Orlando finished 42.9 percent from the field compared to the Heat’s 50.6 percent. One of the reasons the Magic lost. Another reason is the free-throw percentage the Magic finished with 66.7 percent compared to the Heat’s 90.9 percent from the line. Both teams were even in turnovers with 22 apiece. In order for Orlando to have a great season, they must work on their 2nd chance points, fast-break points and points in the paint. All key points they have to work on for the opener.

The Magic did outplay the Heat in rebounds with 44 total rebounds. That is a good sign for Orlando going into the regular season. However, Magic fall short in preseason finale to Heat.
