Below I’ll give you three fantasy football injury tips that will help you to out-strategize your opponents. After all, it really is a game of inches.

Watch the reports

Don’t simply rely on what the news section of your fantasy football app tells you. This week if you had kept track of the Cardinals’ reports, you would have noticed DJ was limited all week in practice and Kingsbury noted that if the team were to have played on Friday, he would not have played. A person with even a little common sense could have seen the writing on the wall and at least thought about starting Edmonds.

Know the coaching staff

Some coaches are extremely forthcoming with injury news regarding the team such as the Eagles. Others are either completely oblivious or hopelessly optimistic, think Pete Carroll. The last type of coach is the Belichick type and, well, that’s self-explanatory. Kliff Kingsbury is turning out to be more on the Belichick side of the spectrum based on his short history with the Cardinals as evidenced by his handling of the Christian Kirk and now David Johnson injury.
