The NFL Trade Deadline is on Tuesday October 29 at 4 p.m. Eastern. There are some teams that want to trade to acquire more picks and there are some that want to make a trade because they feel like they are a piece or two away from being a Super Bowl contender.

There are a ton of players still on the trading block. Some of the key players that have already been moved are cornerback Jalen Ramsey (JAX to LAR), cornerback Marcus Peters (LAR to BAL), wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (ATL to NE), wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (DEN to SF), safety/cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick (MIA to PIT), defensive end/ outside linebacker JaeDevon Clowney (HOU to SEA), and offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil (MIA to HOU).

Who could be traded by the NFL Trade Deadline Tuesday?

Quarterbacks

Quarterbacks Marcus Mariota, Andy Dalton, and Cam Newton could be traded by Tuesday. One of those quarterbacks would likely be traded to the Chicago Bears because Chicago is probably fed up with Mitchell Trubisky.

Running Backs

Running back Kenyan Drake of the Miami Dolphins might be the only running back that gets traded. The Detroit Lions need a running back after they decided to put Keryon Johnson on injured reserve.

Running back Melvin Gordon of the Los Angeles Chargers could potentially be traded too. Los Angeles will most likely not trade him though, it appears as if he will be fine staying with the Chargers in the long run. Gordon admitted earlier in the week that he hopes to never miss a training camp ever again.

Joe Mixon could also get traded, even though Cincinnati should hang onto him. He is one of the few real weapons they have.

Wide Receivers

There will be only one wide receiver potentially getting traded. That is A.J. Green of the Cincinnati Bengals. Green is in the final year of his contract and he is 30 years old. A.J. Green probably does not want to be part of a rebuild and there are some teams that could use him right now.

The Buffalo Bills, the New England Patriots, the Oakland Raiders, and the Green Bay Packers are four of the teams that come to mind.

Green will not be the only player from Cincinnati that could be on the trade block.

Tight Ends

O.J. Howard from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at tight end might be the only player at that position gets traded. The New England Patriots currently need a tight end.

Offensive Line

Trent Williams of the Washington Redskins and Nate Solder of the New York Giants on the offensive line could get traded. The Cleveland Browns are trying to trade for one of them because Cleveland needs help on the offensive line in the worst way.

Defensive Line

Defensive tackle Geno Atkins is potentially on the block as well. The Kansas City Chiefs could use him immediately. Atkins probably doesn’t want to be in Cincinnati anymore.

There are no defensive ends that I think could get traded.

Linebacker

At linebacker. the New York Giants might trade inside linebacker Alec Ogletree. I am not sure what teams would trade for him.

Defensive Backs

Speaking of New York, cornerback Janoris Jenkins is on the market. He is most likely to be traded by Tuesday. The Giants are currently rebuilding. They currently have 12 picks in the 2020 NFL Draft and New York needs as much draft capital as possible.

One of the reasons why this is the case is because the New York Giants roster is poorly built thanks to old General Manager Jerry Reese and current General Manager David Gettleman is trying to do everything in the NFL Draft to fix it up.

Needless to say there are a lot of possibilities coming up to the NFL Trade Deadline. Let us know on twitter @BellyUpFootball who you think will be traded!
