Hey Belly Up fans! It’s your girl, Kat AKA @TXSportsQueen! Welcome to my new weekly piece rightfully called “The Queen’s Take” with my takes and views on the world of wrestling. Let’s face it – The limited characters on Twitter are not enough and I need more room to speak my mind! Whether it’s an upcoming match or something that’s getting on my last nerves! So, what’s on my mind? For the first installment of The Queen’s Take – Rey has to win!

With Survivor Series coming up and everyone focusing on brand supremacy, one important match is being seriously overlooked. On Sunday, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will put his title on the line against Rey Mysterio. The Beast never asked for the match, but he couldn’t say no. After all, Brock has the size advantage. Now that it’s a No Holds Barred and No DQ, anything can happen! All I know is that Rey Mysterio has to win this match for himself and the WWE Universe!

Let me break this down!

On one hand, Brock Lesnar has attacked both Rey and his son Dominic on multiple occasions. Mysterio heads into the match looking for revenge for his family (including Dominic’s godfather Cain Velasquez) and to snatch the only thing that Brock cares about. If he doesn’t capture the title, it’ll be disastrous for Rey!

Now on the flip side, I’ve always respected the champions who show up on a weekly basis either to compete or make their presence known. Obviously, Brock Lesnar does not come remotely close to that mold! If he retains, we won’t see Brock or the WWE title again until the Royal Rumble! The WWE Universe deserves stability with their major title holders! We saw it when Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins held their Universal titles on RAW. Hello Vince!? There are other superstars besides Big Bad Brock that deserve titles!

Well, that’s it for this installment of The Queen’s Take – Rey has to win! Let’s pray that there’s a new champ on Monday night!

Hit me up in the comments with your feedback!

Until next time, Belly Up fans!

Your queen has spoken!
