PAC vs Jon Moxley

PAC calls out Jon Moxley after his match last week.

The winner of this match becomes the number one contender for the AEW world championship against Le Champion Chris Jericho.

Last week on AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho shoved a spike from his own jacket, right into the eye of Jon Moxley. Moxley looked in bad shape, and was taken out in an ambulance because of the injury.

When PAC defeated Darby Allin last week to qualify for this match, he called out Moxley. This lead to Moxley breaking out of the ambulance that was about to take off, and coming after PAC. Things got heated in Miami, and look to break down on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

With the way AEW has been playing the story up, there’s little to no chance of PAC coming out victorious unless it’s by the hands of the Inner Circle.

AEW tag team title match

Kenny Omega & Hangman Page teaming up against Private Party on Jan. 8

Kenny Omega and Hangman Page won a fatal four way tag team match to be crowned number one contenders last week.

SCU haven’t necessarily done much with the AEW tag team titles as of yet. Sure, they’ve defended them successfully a couple of times, but two biggest stories from SCU since AEW started are the Christopher Daniels botch, and Scorpio Sky challenging for the AEW title.

The story between Hangman Page and the Elite, specifically Kenny Omega has been very compelling. No one knows where AEW might go with it. Something that they can do to make this even more intriguing would be to put the tag titles on them right now.

The loss wouldn’t hurt SCU, and they will forever lay claim as the first ever AEW tag team champions.
