MLB regular can be a grind and injuries tend to be apart of it. 2020 looks to a comeback year for a few players. Let’s take a look at MLB players looking for a comeback in 2020.

These players suffered some major injuries that ended their 2020 season early. The return of some of the players could have an impact on their teams. It could affect the teams in a good way.  Here are some players who hope to have a bounce-back year.

Giancarlo Stanton outfielder for the New York Yankees is looking for a big comeback this year due to the fact he did not play a lot in 2019 due to torn biceps and various leg injuries. He looks to be ready for spring training and the regular season. The Yankees hope he can stay healthy because when his bat is in the lineup it can be a game-changer.

Another outfielder who is poised for a bounce-back year would be Andrew McCutchen. McCutchen suffered a knee injury in June that kept him out the rest of the season. He will be ready for Spring training to help the Phillies. His return would boost the Phillies offense and give them a good leadoff hitter.

There are some pitchers who need to have a good healthy year. One would be Sean Manaea who returned from a shoulder injury in September and hopes to build on that. The Athletics have a lack of pitching depth, so a healthy Manaea would help their chances. Corey Kluber looks to make a comeback after injuries and make a good impression on his new team the Rangers. He has a good track record for being a good pitcher.

Of course, there are more players that could use a comeback in the new year. It will be fun to see some of these players get back on track.
