Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, children of all ages! It’s your good buddy @KC_CARLYLE here once again, and today we look at Braun Strowman’s Intercontinental Title win.

As usual I would like to highlight Braun Strowman’s accomplishments before arriving in the WWE. Braun Strowman was born Adam Scherr in Sherills Ford, North Carolina on September 6, 1983. Braun attended Bandys High School in Catawba, North Carolina. So while in high school Braun was on the football, track and field, and wrestling teams. Strowman would graduate in 2001 and enrolled in community college in 2003. For the next four years he would play semi-pro football for the Hickory Hornets. 2007 saw Braun attend the NFL Scouting Combine, but did not end up turning professional.

The late 2000’s saw Braun Strowman begin competing in amateur strongman competitions. In 2010 Braun Strowman won first place in the Europa Battle of Champions and Monster of the Midland strongman competitions. The next year in 2011 Braun would be named Central GA Strongest Man. He took first place in the Summerfest Strongman and West Cary Fall Festival of Power. On November 5, 2011 Braun won the NAS US Amateur Championships. The NAS US Amateur Championships win earned Braun Strowman his Strongman Corporation Professional Card. On March 4, 2012 Braun would win the Arnold Amateur National Championships. That victory earned him an invitation to the 2013 Arnold Sports Classic.

In early 2013 Adam Scherr would sign a developmental contract with WWE, adopting his ring name Braun Strowman. (His first name being a reference to Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun). Now 2014 Braun Strowman appeared as one of Adam Rose’s “Rosebuds” during the latters Exotic Express gimmick. Stowman would make his debut at an NXT Live event;  where he defeated Chad Gable (now known as “Shorty G”).

Since we have our history lesson done for today, lets get to the “Meat and Potatoes” of this article. Braun Strowman is easily one of the most intimidatingly charismatic men in the history of the WWE. There are not many men the size of Braun Strowman can portray both the heel and the babyface the way he can. If you need proof of the range of characters the Braun Strowman can portray; look no further than the fact that he was the “Black Sheep” of the “Wyatt Family”. Braun later on went on to win the tag team championships with a little kid named Nicholas!

Recently we have been watching a build up between Shinsuke Nakamura and Braun Strowman. Sami Zayn had been running his mouth for weeks on end (surprise surprise). About how Braun wasn’t on Shinsuke’s level and he had to earn his title match. After destroying Cesaro and Shinsuke, Strowman would defeat Nakamura in a non-title match on the Jan 10, 2020 edition of Smackdown. Which securing himself a title shot. Fast forward to the Jan 31, 2020 edition of Friday Night SmackDown; Strowman would defeat Nakamura to win the Intercontinental title.

With Braun Strowman winning the Intercontinental title we have a very interesting situation developing. “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman is a giant man with amazing athletic abilities. Braun Strowman’s Intercontinental title run is going to be one of dominance. Braun Strowman’s Intercontinental title run also has the ability to be one of the best in the company.
