Hey, Belly Up peeps! It’s your girl, Kat AKA @TXSportsQueen! I had the pleasure of being at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view! When the Women’s Rumble match ended,  I found myself in a state of confusion! I wasn’t sure how everything would play out with Charlotte Flair winning the Rumble. After the rumors that surfaced this week, I have a different perspective on it now! For this installment of The Queen’s Take – WWE Got It Right With The Rumble!

Some fans probably did not react well to Charlotte’s win. After all, since her debut in 2015, she’s become a 10-time Women’s Champion. Charlotte has also found her way into high profile moments in the Women’s Evolution. The term ‘over-pushed’ comes up quite a lot with any reference to Charlotte.

My first reaction after the match was “Here we go again!” I thought it was going to be Charlotte vs Bayley or Charlotte vs Becky for the millionth time!

Luckily, it appears I may be wrong!

Welcome to the Party!

Rumors surfaced this week that Charlotte is due to face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania for the NXT Women’s Championship. I read that and thought it made perfect sense because it’s a fresh match-up for Charlotte (with the exception of Survivor Series weekend). In addition, it brings NXT to the WrestleMania party! If the rumors holdup, WrestleMania 36 would be the first time a NXT match takes place in the event’s history.

I’ve said before that Charlotte’s place is so significant in the WWE that she can help elevate another superstar. A match against Charlotte Flair would definitely help put Rhea Ripley over on the biggest stage ever!

That’s all for this installment of The Queen’s Take – WWE Got It Right With The Rumble! As long as WWE uses this opportunity to bring a new option to the WrestleMania card, job well done!

Until next time, Belly Up fans!

Your queen has spoken!
