Life without sports has been extremely hard but there are ways to keep the sports fans content. Well, the NBA came up with a temporary solution. The solution is the HORSE Challenge. The minute the news was out about the NBA doing a HORSE Challenge every sports fan was stoked, excited, jumping up and down and so on. I don’t blame them– a month without sports was brutal, to say the least. Here we are introducing Allie Quigley to the NBA fans.

Shooting Machine Allie Quigley

I was excited as well and not because is basketball. But because of Allie Quigley. The WNBA shooting machine or should i say a shooting machine. The entire WNBA community was waiting for this challenge on Sunday night. We were all rooting for, so many girls cheering on their role model. Someone who looks just like them. It was so great to see the support Allie received online.

Okay, back to the shooting machine that is Allie Quigley. The reigning queen of the three-point contest. Quigley has broken records and in 2018 she made 29 threes in the three-point contest an all-time record. In addition, she is a three-time All-Star and won the three-point contest in 2017 and 2018. She is a two time 6th women of the year. Allie has been in the top 10 in three-point field goals and attempts for the past three years. To those who are not familiar with her no problem here, i am introducing Allie Quigley to the NBA fans.

2020 NBA Horse Challenge

Introducing Allie Quigley

On Friday, April 10th we did a Twitter poll and the results were in and most of the fans voted for Allie to win the NBA Horse Challenge. I am not surprised at all by the results of the Twitter poll. I too voted for her and I knew she was going to win due to her shooting ability. Don’t get me wrong Chris Paul is a future Hall of Famer and one of the greats. However, her shooting skills were going to get her the win and surely it did.

Even though Chris Paul had more creative shots with the help of his son Chris haha. Allie won at the end with a simple bank free-throw shot. A shot that she probably practices every day. I was indeed surprised CP3 missed the free throw. I know the Horse challenge is about creativity but in reality, having a smooth and natural shot helps too.

Allie has been practicing her shots prior to Sunday’s challenge and we saw her practice this hard shot earlier in the week. She decided to use it during the challenge and she made the shot that shocked Chris Paul and every NBA fan as well haha. I was so thrilled she won against CP3 and she proved everyone wrong. The next round is Thursday at 9 PM E.T on ESPN and she will be facing Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls.

I will definitely be tuning in and rooting for Allie again. This one is going to be a fun one, Chicago vs Chicago. I know many basketball fans are not thrilled due to the lack of quality of the video and audio. But I will be there watching rooting for our girl Quigley.
