It’s Bristol Baby! Today at 3:30 PM at Bristol Motor Speedway, the NASCAR Cup Series returns to short track racing! The Wingman Sports racing crew has made their race day picks for the Food City 500.

Race Day Picks for the Food City 500

Brittany Reed: Matt DiBenedetto

For today’s race, I have chosen Matt DiBenedetto to win. DiBenedetto is considered an underdog but recently he has become a fan favorite and he has been running in the front of the field. Last August at Bristol he was the runner-up to Denny Hamlin. The crowd cheered him on as he worked his way through the field and many of his fellow competitors congratulated him after the race. Recently, he said he has yet to watch the full race.

Brian Sykes: Kyle Busch

Owner of Wingman Sports says he thinks Kyle Busch will take the win at Bristol. He has 17 top tens at Bristol Motor Speedway. Last year he won the spring race and in August he finished in 4th. We can talk about his racing stats all day, but we all know he can dominate anywhere he goes.

PC: Motor Racing Media

Glenn Earnhardt: Brad Keselowski

I said that Kyle Busch can dominate anywhere he goes, but Brad Keselowski is not much different. The last year or two he hasn’t had the best finishes, but that doesn’t mean he can’t come back and start a winning streak this year. His last race there he finished in 3rd, but the seven races before that he finished outside the top 15.

Timothy Hammond: Joey Logano

Keselowski’s teammate, Joey Logano, is Timothy Hammonds pick to win. Logano finished 16th last time he was at Bristol. The two previous races before that finish he had three top 10’s and two back to back top 5’s.
