In the first mini golf challenge of 2021, I finally found an opponent. Will I be able to beat him and remain undefeated or will I fall in my first one-on-one matchup?

This challenge is at the popular Aloha Mini Golf and Shaved Ice course in St. Louis. After a large appearance fee and a lot of convincing, I finally got someone to show up.

As always, par is two strokes and the max is six (no spoilers, but this may or may not be worth remembering).

Let’s get to the action. Here is part one of my matchup vs Parker:

What a start! The front nine is in the books and we have ourselves a nail-biter. I can’t wait to see what happens in part two. Can Hunter close out his first opponent or will Parker make a late surge to take the crown for the first matchup in mini golf challenge?

The Front Nine Review

The front nine at Aloha Mini Golf and Shaved Ice is great and I highly recommend it. There is one hole that is almost a guaranteed hole in one if you guess the right spot and don’t over hit it. I would spoil which hole, but I need the views.

The only issue, and by issue I mean challenge that I struggled with, was the “slope” of the greens. Almost all of the holes would result in the ball leaning against the wall. That is where scores will fall apart.

Part two should be full of fireworks. Hopefully it has more fireworks than part one. I know I can’t wait to find out.

Part two with the back nine is coming soon. Be sure to keep an eye out for that.
