The spicy six special premiered this week on The Masked Singer season five where the final six sung again in hopes of advancing to the next round. At the end of the night, one singer was unmasked in the big reveal.

As the competition heats up viewers were gifted with some amazing performances and more epic clues. Everyone who is left is so good that it’s anyone’s game at this point.  Spicy Six included Black Swan, Chameleon, Yeti, Russian Dolls, Porcupine, and Piglet. Here are the highlights from the episode for those who missed it.

Spicy Six Highlights

Black Swan

Song: “Do I Do” by Stevie Wonder

Black Swan dominated her performance again this week with some epic vocals and range. She has the ability to make a song her own. Therefore she is one to watch as it gets closer to the finals. As for the clues Black Swan referenced performing in the street as a kid.

Clues: Umbrella, New Hampshire, street performer, soda, and Mariah Carey.

Chameleon

Song: “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See” by Busta Rhymes

Chameleon has some good rapping skills with a smooth flow that seems effortless. He sounded like a professional rapper with some legit skills. It was a good song choice for him. His clue package was about his growing up as a military kid and moving a lot.

Clues: Military brat, captain hat, plane, oranges, friends and brownies.

Yeti

Song: “It Takes Two“ by DJ Rock and Rob Bass.

Yeti did the splits during his performance showing off dance skills in a nice rendition of a popular song. His vocals were not as strong as weeks before. He can sing and dance at the same time making him stand out from the rest. The clues talked about birth of his child and special things.

Clues: Stuffed panda, nana, daughter, ice cream cone, corn and pop music.

Song: “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper

Russian Dolls had another solid performance with some tight harmonies.  Another ballad that showed off their talent. It was stripped-down vocals that showed a different side of them this week. The clues included overcoming criticism and music helping others.

Clues: Coins, belt buckle, criticized, pan, eagle and kangaroo.

Porcupine

Song: “Water Runs Dry” by Boyz II Men

Porcupine has this deep and old-sounding voice that is so nice to hear. It was a good performance for him though it may not have been enough. He pulled on everyone’s heartstrings with his emotional ballad giving heart and soul instead of glitz. His clues included growing up struggling and being a part of the creation of an amusement park ride.

Clues: balloon, food stamps, breakfast, theater masks, light bulb and amusement park.

Piglet

Song: “Against All Odds” by Phil Collins

Piglet was here to win the competition with his vocals this week. A good song choice for him was probably his best yet, as it showed off his abilities. He sounds and moves like a boy bander from the 90s with that voice. His clues referenced shaving his head during his college days and being accepted by his spouse.

Clues: Dan Marino, vampire, brush, scissors, gold bars, college and dream girl.

Spicy Six Reveal

In a surprise elimination, the Porcupine was revealed as actor and platinum-selling singer Tyrese Gibson. He is most known for his role in the Fast and Furious movies. A tough elimination because they are all talented singers that all deserve to go on.
