SRX is heading to Slinger for week five of their debut season. The quarter-mile track with 33 degree banked corners is the smallest track on the SRX schedule. Both heat races will be 12 minutes with a feature race of 150 laps. The race will be aired at 8 pm ET on CBS. Here is the SRX at Slinger preview!

Race Lineup

Greg Biffle is back in the gold number 69 as the ringer for this weekend! Along with the Biff, Slinger Nationals champion Luke Fenhaus will be in the number 4 digital camo machine. Hailie Deegan will be back in the pink car for Tony Kanaan. She will also be running the race at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway next weekend as well.

The crew chief order will be as follows. Jeff Hammond will be with Deegan, Castroneves, and Waltrip. Tony Eury Jr. will work with Fenhous, Elliott, and Tracy. Stewart, Ribbs, and Labonte will be with Scott Hansen. The fourth and final crew chief, Todd Parrott, will be with Andretti, Francis Jr., and Biffle.

Chase Elliott Will Race at Nashville

Earlier this week, 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion and son of Bill Elliott, Chase Elliott will compete in the final race of the SRX season at Nashville! We don’t know what color or number he will run as of yet, but it will be cool seeing both Elliotts racing against each other!

My Picks

Ernie Francis Jr. has been on fire for the last few weekends. Even winning his first SRX race last week at Lucas Oil Raceway! I wouldn’t be surprised to see him have another great weekend at Slinger. Marco Andretti is another driver who has had a great couple of races. He’s kind of been the quiet one as of late but he has been able to grab a couple of good finishes. Whoever wins, they’re going to have to keep it clean.

This track is unique in many ways. It’s very tight in the corners and the straightaways leave little room to pass. It’s kind of like a “fun-sized” Bristol in some ways. But to be competitive there, you’re going to have to have a lot of corner exit speed to pass. It’s going to be fun to watch.
