The midseason recap of The Masked Singer season six aired this week. A special that featured a countdown of the best performances, behind-the-scenes footage of contestants in season six. Also, there were hints and new clues dropped for the remaining singers who were yet to be revealed.
We are now at the halfway point of the season as they prepare for the rest of the competition. Seven singers have already been revealed including Mother Nature, Octopus, Baby, and Hamster from Group A. Cupcake and Dalmatian from Group B. Therefore, here is a midseason recap of clues and new hints to ponder for next week.
Group A Midseason Recaps
Pepper
The Pepper gave us a sneak peek at her next performance where she will do another ballad. She has a nice voice and a cool costume. Though she may not be strong enough to reach the semi-finals.
Clues: Competition, ballad, Bull mask, and teacup.
Most Popular Internet Guess: Natasha Bedingfield
Bull
The Bull looks to give a dramatic performance his next time on the stage. He is a top contender who will be hard to beat the rest of the way. This is a theatric singer who has an amazing vocal range of a broadway star. In his midseason package, there were a lot of mentions of risk-taking.
Clues: Theater, risk-taker, mother, and running shoes.
Most Popular Internet Guess: Todrick Hall
Skunk
Skunk gave us hints that she will be doing an iconic love song next time. Her voice is beautiful and has a unique tone to it that sounds familiar. This could be a legendary singer based on clues and performances.
Clues: Legendary songs, simple life, tomboy, clothes iron, and sneakers.

Caterpillar
Caterpillar has only performed once, and it was impressive. Therefore, viewers and panelists will look forward to next week when they see him again. Expect to see the Caterpillar perform a fast-paced boy band song as a solo artist with choreography.
Clues: Boy band, NSYNC, solo, dancer, and boombox.

Mallard
The Mallard has a cool country-sounding voice that makes him a fan favorite. The preview showed him preparing a big country song. He has been the most versatile performer as he jumps from one genre to another and he mastered them all.
Clues: Focus, cats, lean in, cheerleaders and razor.
Most Popular Internet Guess: Thomas Rhett
Banana Split
Banana Split is the only duo in the competition, and they are good. Based on the preview they plan to sing another big meaningful ballad. Though it would be nice to see them do something upbeat and dance a little bit more. It will be interesting to see who they are.
Clues: Duo, diva, ride of their life, showman and surfboard.
Most Popular Internet Guess: Katharine McPhee and David Foster.
This was a nice episode even though there were no performances or eliminations. Tune in next week as Group B returns to the stage. The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays on Fox at 7/8 c.
