Loubet Retires

Pierre-Louis Loubet was the first driver to retire from an event this season. Loubet would retire at the end of SS9. This would come after Loubet would hit a bit of ice and slide into a guardrail which would inevitably destroy his rear end. Loubet’s retirement comes after he drove nearly 60 kilometres without power steering on day two of Rallye Monte-Carlo.

No Power Steering For Tänak

Unfortunately for M-Sport, Loubet wasn’t the only one to have misfortune on day three of Rallye Monte-Carlo. As Ott Tänak would lose power steering on SS10. Luckily for Tänak, he was able to get the issue mostly resolved during transit to SS11.
