Scouting Notes
- Converted Wide Receiver, and it shows.
- Elite movement ability in space.
- Great vision.
- Despite great agility, redirection and change of direction are labored.
- Doesn’t try to avoid blocks, too focused on the ball.
Short Summary
Daiyan Henley is a great athlete, with amazing coverage ability. His height and wingspan on top of his natural vision, instincts, and abilities make him exceptionally reliable as a coverage defender.
Still, he didn’t have a lot of production, and he played a ton in college. After 50 games, you’d think he would have developed a more consistent production profile. Additionally, he isn’t very polished, and he is a little undersized. There are tools to work with, but he has room to grow before he can be an every-down player.
