Players are moving on and off the injured list, and it impacts teams early in the season. The return of Fernando Tatis could spark a run in the West for the Padres. The Pirates continue to overachieve. We look at how teams currently look in these MLB power rankings for week four of the season.

1. Tampa Bay Rays +/-0

The Rays have yet to lose at home and hold a league-best +85 run differential entering a new week. They are not only the AL East’s best team, they are the best in the MLB so far.

2. Milwaukee Brewers +4

The Brewers had a dominant road stretch out West while battling injuries in their rotation. Rowdy Tellez has found his swing, and the bullpen has answered all doubt. The Crew moved up to second this week.

3. Pittsburgh Pirates +5

The Pirates have been a huge surprise this season! They enter the new week on a six-game win streak.

Gunnar Henderson and the young Orioles jump into the top 5 of the MLB power rankings for week four.

4. Baltimore Orioles +10

The Orioles have taken over second place in the AL East with a dominant week, winning five straight and eight of their last ten.

5. New York Mets +/-0

The Mets are right on the Braves’ heels in the NL East and have survived playing 16 road games, compared to only six home games in the early season.

6. Texas Rangers +10

Texas made significant pitching additions in the off-season and it is paying off by only allowing 77 runs to this point. The offense has been great also, scoring the second most runs so far this season.

7. Miami Marlins -3

The Marlins continue to impress by winning but have a -20 point differential, which could mean the winning will not last long. These rankings are about the now, and the Marlins are winning right now.

8. Atlanta Braves -6

The Braves have done well navigating their injuries but closed out the week on a three-game losing streak.

9. Houston Astros +12

Houston won three straight to end the week, and continue to stay close to the top of the AL West.

The Phillies are finding their groove finally, and they find themselves in the top ten of the MLB power rankings for week four.

Playing the White Sox and the Rockies is just what the doctor ordered to get Philadelphia on track.

13. Toronto Blue Jays -10

14. Arizona Diamondbacks -4

15. Boston Red Sox +2

16. Los Angeles Dodgers -1

17. Seattle Mariners +1

The Mariners now celebrate HRs with a trident.

19. Minnesota Twins -10

20. Los Angeles Angels -1

21. St. Louis Cardinals +2

22. Cleveland Guardians -9

23. Chicago White Sox -3

24. San Francisco Giants +1
