The Masked Singer season nine finale aired this week. As the final two celebrity contestants each performed two all-new songs, both were revealed.

Macaw and Medusa gave it their all in the finale but only took home the trophy as the winner of season nine. Season nine was impressive as all the celebrities competing blew the viewers away. The format they used kept things fresh and exciting. Therefore contestants’ identities were revealed sooner making for more drama. Also, the introduction of the save bell kept the competition fair and fun. For those who missed the episode or just want a reminder look no further.

Medusa

Medusa brought the house down with her cover of a popular song that showed off her exciting voice. She gave some big octave performances that audiences have come to expect. The panelists thought she was a professional singer.  Her clues referenced that she lost her sister and it had a big impact on her

Popular Guesses: Bishop Briggs, Fergie

Macaw

Macaw’s first performance was a beautiful ballad that showed off his incredible vocal range. His second performance blew everyone away with his exceptional vocals and stage presence. He was a joy to watch this season with an amazing story to tell.  Also, the panelists think he is a triple-threat performer based on clues. His clues mentioned that he suffered an injury last year that affected his voice.

Popular Guesses: David Archuleta, Shawn Mendes

Season Nine Finale Reveal

Both contestants were revealed but only one went home a winner. Macaw took second place and was revealed as platinum recording artist David Archuleta and is known for competing on American Idol. Therefore the season nine winner was Medusa who was revealed as singer Bishop Briggs.
