You may have heard of Dirty Mo Media if you’re a NASCAR fan. It’s Dale Earnhardt Jr’s media company that hosts several different podcasts covering the sport. It includes Denny Hamlin’s “Actions Detrimental”. Which often makes the headlines weekly discussing the races previously. Although, the main staple of the network is “The Dale Jr Download”. A three episodes per week show, which includes Dale Earndhart Jr talking about all things NASCAR. Past, present, and future.

The show has taken on a brand new project, inspired by Dale Jr himself. After the passing of his grandmother, the two-time Daytona 500 winner dug into some old memories left by scrapbooks of his grandmother. Of this, comes “Becoming Earnhardt”, a series where Dale Jr, and others, come together to tell the story of his father, Dale Sr, and his rookie season in 1979. Before he was known as “The Intimidator” and racing the legendary black, red, and white #3 car.

The first episode will be debuting as you read this article here, so scroll to the bottom to get a direct link to Dirty Mo Media, and check out all of the other projects that they have going on. This will be a seven-part series, airing in place of the Wednesday episodes. Dale Jr has expressed how much he’s loved working on this project already. Personally after one listen, I’m ready to hear more myself. So go check out and support a NASCAR legend in “1979: Becoming Earnhardt” and hear some stories not even Dale Jr heard before researching.
