The MLB playoff race is full steam ahead! This week we see a new top-ten team and a lot of movement in the middle of the rankings. Here are the MLB power rankings for week 20.

1. Atlanta Braves +/-0

The Braves continue to be the Belle of the Ball. Atlanta has an MLB-leading +193 run differential and appears to be uncatchable in the NL.

2. Baltimore Orioles +/-0

Baltimore sits three games up in the AL East following another solid week. While they have not been great defensively they have done enough. If their pitching can hold up so will their division lead.

3. LA Dodgers +3

It seems like yesterday the Dodgers were battling in the NL West, but now they hold a dominant 8.5-game lead. LA is on a winning streak and has found its groove at the right time.

4. Texas Rangers +/-0

The Rangers have been the most consistent team in Major League Baseball. They hold a +181 run differential and a 2.5-game lead over the Astros.

5. Tampa Bay Rays -2

The Rays are staying in range of the Orioles, but cannot seem to gain any ground. Tampa has been great at home, but only average on the road.

6. Houston Astros -1

Similarly to the Rays in the East, Houston refuses to let the division leaders run away. Houston is a dangerous team but has to find more consistency.

7. Toronto Blue Jays +/-0

Toronto has all the pieces to be great but has yet to find the winning formula. The stretch run will give the Jays more home games than road games, which should help them. They seem locked into a wildcard spot, but they have a long way to go to contend for the division.

8. Milwaukee Brewers +1

The Crew swept the White Sox to end their light schedule run, now they face the Dodgers and the Rangers which should tell us a lot about this team.

9. Seattle Mariners +3

Seattle has been impressive since the All-Star break. They went on an eight-game win streak and sit 6.5 games back in their division. They now get to control their playoff fate the rest of the way.

10. Philadelphia Phillies +/0

They will not catch the Braves, but at this point, they just need to secure a wildcard birth. Throw in a no-no and they had a solid week.

11. San Francisco Giants -3

12. Minnesota Twins +4

13. Miami Marlins +4

14. Boston Red Sox +1

15. Chicago Cubs +4
