Teams like the Mariners and Cubs make their push for the playoffs while the leaders continue to look strong. Here are the MLB power rankings for week 21.

1. Atlanta Braves +/-0

The Braves are clearly the best team in baseball. Their run differential is over 200 and have won eight of their last ten games.

2. Baltimore Orioles +/-0

Baltimore refuses to give up any ground. I did not think their pitching would hold up, but Tampa has injury and legal issues, and it appears Baltimore will finish the year on top of the AL East.

3. LA Dodgers +/-0

The Dodgers are back to form and while sweeping the Brewers, LA looks like they can contend with the Braves in the NL. The Dodgers are the hottest team in baseball right now.

4. Tampa Bay Rays +1

The Rays have everything going wrong but are still treading water. If they can persevere for another month they might just make a run in October.

5. Milwaukee Brewers +3

After a rough series against the Dodgers, Milwaukee bounced back to sweep the Rangers. Consistency has eluded the Crew this season, but they have shown they have the talent to win.

6. Texas Rangers -2

The offense looked lost against Milwaukee, but this team still sits atop the AL West by 2.5 games. The Rangers look to bounce back this week against Arizona and Minnesota.

7. Toronto Blue Jays +/-0

Toronto looks like they will have to grab a wild card spot this year, and they are doing enough to do that.

8. Houston Astros -2

Houston continues to fall short every time the Rangers open the door for them to take the AL West lead. They went on a three-game losing streak this week.

9. Seattle Mariners +/-0

Seattle has quietly entered the AL West race. Last week we were talking wildcard race, now they are a legit threat to win the division.

10. Philadelphia Phillies +/0

Philadelphia will be dangerous in the playoffs again this year, and although they are not a threat to the Braves now… they will be in October.

11. Chicago Cubs +4

12. Minnesota Twins +/-0

13. San Francisco Giants -2

14. Boston Red Sox +/-0

15. Arizona Diamondbacks +3
