After a week off, the UFC is back in action on Saturday at the Apex in Las Vegas. Let’s dive into a few matchups for this action-packed evening. UFC Fight Night: Dawson vs. Green promises to be explosive. We should see a number of fighters ascending in their division rankings.

MAIN CARD | LIGHTWEIGHT · 155 LBS

? Grant Dawson (20-1-1) ? Bobby Green (30-14-1)

The main event is a lightweight showdown that will answer many questions when it comes to the skill of rising star Grant Dawson. This will be Dawson’s toughest test on the feet when facing the always competitive Bobby “King” Green in the main event. This is a classic striker vs. grappler matchup that will be closer than the odds show. Green has underrated wrestling that could give Dawson a run for his money. Dawson will be able to squeeze out a unanimous decision victory, while also gaining much-needed experience in his first five-round fight.

MAIN CARD | MIDDLEWEIGHT · 185 LBS

? Joseph Pyfer (11-2-0) ? Abdul Razak Alhassan (12-5-0)

In the co-main event, middleweights Joe Pyfer and Abdul Razak Alhassan prepare for a clash. Alhassan holds a 2-2 record since moving to middleweight, with a recent second-round knockout victory. Pyfer has been generating some buzz with consecutive stoppage wins to start his UFC career, showcasing both power and grappling skills. Pyfer is considered as a dark horse in the middleweight division and should be able to run through Alhassan for his fifth straight knockout victory.

MAIN CARD | WELTERWEIGHT · 170 LBS

Alex Morono (23-8-0) ? Joaquin Buckley (16-6-0) ?

Morono, known for his technical skills and jiu-jitsu, enters with an 8-3 record over the past five years, fresh from a second-round submission win over Tim Means. Buckley, coming off a dominant round two victory over Andre Fialho, boasts explosive power and aims to make a statement. Joaquin has been looking to stay active to climb the rankings, and will finally get a chance to find himself with a number next to his name after this fight. Buckley will prove he is a force in the welterweight division, stopping Morono late in the third round.

MAIN CARD | LIGHTWEIGHT · 155 LBS

?Drew Dober (26-12-0) ? Ricky Glenn (22-7-2)

Dober has over a decade of Octagon experience and is always ready for a brawl. Glenn had a solid match with tonight’s main event Grant Dawson two years back, before returning earlier this year. A first-round stoppage by Christos Giagos in April will be weighing on Glenn when he takes on Dober. Drew suffered a tough loss against Matt “Steamrolla” Frevola his last time out when it looked like he was going to coast to victory. He got caught with some solid punches as he couldn’t put Frevola away. Dober will definitely be out to prove his last was a fluke. Get ready for a feast of punches and kicks in this Fight of the Night contender! Don’t blink because this fight can be over at any given second.
