Week 11 is in the books. This time in the NFL often represents a crucial point in the regular season, where teams are vying for playoff positions. Rivalries intensify.

Teams that started the season 1-5 include the Patriots, Broncos, Giants, Bears, and Cardinals. The 1970 Bengals (8-6), 2015 Chiefs (11-5), 2018 Colts (10-6) and the 2020 Washington Football Team (7-9) are the only four teams since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 that started 1-5 and made the postseason. Make that five?

Take this all with a grain of salt. With the recent expansion to 17 games and seven playoff spots, anything can happen in the 2023 NFL season.

AFC – Week 11

East

🏈 🏈 Miami Dolphins: (7-3) #4 seed. Still haven’t beaten a real contender.

Buffalo Bills: (6-5) Still in contention. Tough road ahead.

New York Jets: (4-6) Season looks to be over.

New England Patriots: (2-8) Belichick has seven more post-game pressers to go.

Week 11 Canada fired

North

🏈🏈 Baltimore Ravens: (8-3) #1 seed. Road is not easy, but division should be theirs.

🏈 Cleveland Browns: (7-3) #5 seed. 3-4 the rest of the way should earn playoff spot.

🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers: (6-4) #7 seed. Let’s see if the OC was the problem.

Cincinnati Bengals: (5-5) If only they had given the superstar QB the rest he needed in the early weeks. Oh well, live and learn.

Week 11 Burrow out

South

🏈🏈 Jacksonville Jaguars: (7-3) #3 seed. Playing football at top level. Big road game @ Texans for division flex at top.

🏈 Houston Texans: (6-4) #6 seed. So much fun to watch. Is the spotlight too much for the rookie?

Indianapolis Colts: (5-5) Bye week and ready to make their run.

Tennessee Titans: (3-7) It’s over.

West

🏈🏈 Kansas City Chiefs: (7-3) #2 seed. Too many distractions. Too many drops.

Denver Broncos: (5-5) From 1-5 to ….

Las Vegas Raiders: (5-6) Back down to Earth. They are not good.

Los Angeles Chargers: (4-6) It’s time! You know what you need to do.

NFC – Week 11

East

🏈🏈 Philadelphia Eagles: (9-1) #1 seed. Another sloppy win, yet they find a way.

Washington Commanders: (4-7) Same thing year in and year out.

North

🏈🏈 Detroit Lions: (8-2) #2 seed. Best record through 10 games in 50+ years.

🏈 Minnesota Vikings: ( 6-5) #7 seed. See how they bounce back after first loss with new QB.

Green Bay Packers: (4-6) Absolute worst team in the NFL that is healthy.

Chicago Bears: (3-8) QB showcasing for new club.

South

🏈🏈 New Orleans Saints: (5-5) #4 seed. Awful. Season may come down to New Year’s Eve matchup vs. Bucs.

Atlanta Falcons: (4-6) “Falcons need consistency.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: (4-6) Like what I see.

Carolina Panthers: (1-9) Every loss helps the Bears.

NFC West:

🏈 Seattle Seahawks: (6-4) #6 seed The road is tough through December. Can’t figure out which team will show up year after year.

Los Angeles Rams: (4-6) If only they were healthy. Still on radar.

Arizona Cardinals: (2-9) Kyler playing with something to prove. Thank you for making the games interesting.
