MLB has released the schedules for the new season including All-Star week, the trade deadline, and more. Fox and ESPN have unveiled an initial broadcast schedule for the 2024 MLB season. This includes post-season rematches, international road trips, and special abroad events. Here are some intriguing key dates, events, and games to mark on your calendars in 2024.

Pitchers and catchers around MLB will report to spring training as early as February 13th. The rest of the roster players will take the field on February 18th. Opening day for all thirty teams will be on March 28th this year with plenty of fun matchups. Other key dates include the MLB Amateur Draft which will begin on July 14th with the first round. The much-anticipated annual Home Run Derby will take place on July 15th, both events held in Arlington, Texas.

There will also be some fun international games to follow this year such as the Seoul Series between the Dodgers and Padres. This series will be the ninth opening day game outside the United States and the first MLB game in Korea. The third edition of the London Series will feature a fun rivalry between the Phillies and Mets taking place on June 8th. Another fun series to watch will be between the Rockies and Astros in Mexico City on April 27-28.

Fox Sports is heading into its 29th season providing MLB coverage. Some key matchups include Phillies vs Braves and Giants vs Cardinals. Beyond their regular season games, Fox will broadcast its 25th All-Star Game. The 2024 MLB All-Star Game will be held July 16th from Globe Life Stadium home of the Texas Rangers.

The 2024 season will mark the 35th consecutive season of ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. It features matchups between the Yankees and Dodgers who will each showcase superstars. Also, the Cubs and Red Sox will be a good game to watch. ESPN will broadcast the home run derby and other MLB content. There will most likely be more broadcasts announced before the season begins.
