This year’s Super Bowl lived up to the expectations. Both teams played a great game, coming down to overtime.

Congratulations to the Chiefs for back-to-back Super Bowl wins.

Tough Loss for the Faithful in the Super Bowl

I feel for the Bay today. The agony of defeat is always heavier. The 49ers did not play their best game.

George Kittle and Deebo Samuel were unable to have the impact on the game they wanted to. They have been the main leaders of this Niners team over the years and are a big reason they made it into the Super Bowl for a second time. They deserved more opportunities.

CMC had 30 touches and 160 all-purpose yards. Although he deserves to be the main ball carrier for the Niners, Deebo should have taken some of the load off.

Deebo has been one of the more explosive playmakers in the NFL over his career. The Niners got away from that with the addition of CMC.

Deebo finished the Super Bowl with three carries for eight yards.

George Kittle is another staple of the Bay that was just unable to make an impact with the ball in his hands. We’ve seen him have games where he is the best player on the field. I feel for him knowing how he is. Today he is probably feeling mixed emotions. He deserved a better Super Bowl.

Dr. Disrespect may have put it the best for San Francisco.

“We may have lost, but we’re still winning…”

A Solidified Dynasty

No matter what happens the rest of the way, the Chiefs have solidified themselves among some of the best teams in NFL history. That being said, the Chiefs’ Defense has been underrated on their run.

Their defensive side of the ball has progressively gotten better over the years. It seems that every year their defense has gotten stronger. Their recent draft selections on the defensive side of the ball have over-exceeded and made this team a lot better.

In The End

Lastly, Patrick Mahomes. For the second year in a row, Mahomes has come up clutch in the Super Bowl for the Chiefs. While the NFL has been focused on his throwing and pocket-escaping abilities for the last 6 years, Mahomes has used his rushing skills in the biggest moments. He led the Chiefs in rushing yards and made the plays himself when he needed to.
