We are now just weeks away from the 2024 NFL draft, and rumors are swirling. The expectations are that three QBs will start us off, but which QBs will it be? I will take a couple of stabs at predicting how things will shake out in round one of the draft, and here is my NFL Mock Draft 1.0.

1. Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams, QB, USC

Caleb Williams lands at number one in our NFL mock draft.

2. Washington Commanders: JJ McCarthy, QB, Michigan

This pick has become a big question mark this week. I think they should draft the reigning Heisman winner, Jayden Daniels, but McCarthy has been nailing his interviews with teams and appears to have risen in this draft.

3. (Trade from 11 & 23) Minnesota Vikings: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina

Drake Maye is a better fit for the Vikings system than Daniels, and every indication is they are looking to get into the top 5 for a QB.

4. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr, WR, Ohio State

5. Los Angeles Chargers: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU

6. New York Giants: Rome Odunze, WR Washington

7. Tennessee Titans: Joe Alt, OL, Notre Dame

8. Atlanta Falcons: Jared Verse, Edge, Florida St

The Falcons have drafted impact offensive talent in recent first rounds, and new coach Raheem Morris will look to add an explosive defender in 2024. Most have Dallas Turner as the first defender off the board, but I think Verse will leapfrog him on draft day.

9. Chicago Bears: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OL, Penn State

10. (Trade from 12) Denver Broncos: Jaylen Daniels, QB, LSU

Sean Payton lands a dynamic QB to try to bring Denver back to life.

11. (Trade from 3) New England Patriots: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia

12. (Trade from 10) New York Jets: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

13. Las Vegas Raiders: Dallas Turner, Edge, Alabama

The Raiders would be ecstatic to land Turner at 13. The Raiders pass rush would give Mahomes and Herbert nightmares.

14. New Orleans Saints: JC Latham, OL, Alabama

15. Indianapolis Colts: Quenyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo

16. Seattle Seahawks: Taliese Fuaga, OL, Oregon State

17. Jacksonville Jaguars: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

18. Cincinnati Bengals: Troy Fautanu, OL, Washington

19. Los Angeles Rams: Cooper DeJean, DB, Iowa

20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Amarius Mims, OL, Georgia

21. Miami Dolphins: Graham Barton, OL, Duke

22. Philadelphia Eagles: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama

23. (Trade from 3) New England Patriots: Bo Nix, QB, Oregon

Bo Nix becomes QB5 in this NFL mock draft. The Patriots choose to be patient at the position and land an experienced QB at 23.

24. Dallas Cowboys: Brian Thomas Jr, WR, LSU

25. Green Bay Packers: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Darius Robinson, Edge, Missouri

27. Arizona Cardinals: Laiatu Latu, Edge, UCLA

28. Buffalo Bills: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson

29. Detroit Lions: Chop Robinson, Edge, Penn State

30. Baltimore Ravens: Payton Wilson, LB, NC State

31. San Francisco 49ers: Jackson Powers-Johnson, OL, Oregon

32. Kansas City Chiefs: Jer’Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois
